Connect to community as a new project for a new user after site migration

Hello.
So I have this website that I've duplicated and set up on new domain. Just a simple copy of the theme and database following this guide:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/installation/moving_a_site...
The site has now been updated from an older version to the latest C5 version. Everything works fine.
Now, my client want's to keep the addons associated with website up to date, but the website can no longer connect to the community. "The base URL of your site does not match a registered instance of the site. Please click below to authenticate your site again."
I've tried just to login, but I am getting this message since there is no project of the particular site on my Concrete5.org user:
"You must login with a username that is an owner or editor of this project."
I think the website is associated with an older account that I have no access to and no one remembers. It was a former employee who made the site, but no one knows/can remember what the user details are.
Alright, so I went into the database -> Config to look for the row MARKETPLACE_SITE_TOKEN to delete it following this guide:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/editors/reconnect-to... . However there are no such row in the database.
So my question is: How do I attach this copy of an older website to a new Concrete5.org user? How can I purge this news website copy for information related to the old C5.org user, from the original website, that no one can remember?
I have the project address on the original website, which is properly connected to Concrete5.org. However, as mentioned, I cannot login to the user. If just I knew the username or the e-mail associated with it.
