I am looking to install concrete onto a database that already contains tables, I did search but couldnt find anyting so can anyone advise me how to do this.

export your database to a sql file, then drop all tables, then install c5 then import the exported tables
What many content management systems do is provide a table prefix for installing into databases that are not dedicated to the CMS. I don't know if Concrete5 would allow you to do that but it would probably resolve your issue.

the creator of adodb said hes not going to build it into adodb, so thats probbably not going to happen anytime soon.
