desperately need help!

Hi,

I have uploaded my files and have changed the permission to 755.

I get this error: "The config/, packages/ and files/ directories must be writable by your web server".

Please let me know what should I do. It seems like I cannot fill in the form (personal information - database information)in Install Concrete page before fixing this.

Ok, I have now managed to fix this by finding those files and changing the permissions to 777.

However, I have done something stupid, please let me know if this will cause me troubles:

Before I find those specific files, I changed the permission of ALL the files in the directory of Concrete to 755. Most of them were 644 (I think).

What does this mean?
What are the consequences?

I cannot remember which files were 644, so if this will gonna be a problem would you advise me to delete Concrete and reinstall or is there a way to go back to defaults?
