Disk usage Problem

I have a few sites running Concrete5 and all are working fine but the space they take up on the server is growing even when nothing has been added. Even on a basic installation.

this is the usage message I get…

(not in a subdirectory) 0.07 MB
/etc 0.02 MB
/mail 0.06 MB
/public_ftp 0.00 MB
/public_html 72.52 MB
/tmp 50.05 MB
/(other subdirectories) 11.01 MB
MySQL 0.95 MB
PostgreSQL 0.00 MB
Other 0.95 MB
Total 135.64 MB

My ISP tells me this is the solution…

I have removed the cache files that were created, these are there to speed up the site loading speed but they can be removed from the tmp/eaccelerator directory.

Surely the once cached a site should not continue to grow unless it has been added to or modified. I questioned the ISP on this and he replied…

I've cleared and disabled the cache on all sites mentioned so these won't grow further, thanks.

Any help and advice on this issue would be very helpful

Hi
I have a similar problem. It could be that emails sent to the domainname are being stored on the server. This would explain how the disk usage grows without anything being added. I don't have a solution, but I think using a different server for emails may sort it out.
