domain redirects

I have just installed version 5.5 on a litespeed server. When I type inhttp://www.domain.com it redirects to domain.com ? Is it a concrete issue or .htaccess ?

Update:
SOLVED the .htaccess was deleted for some reason

Did you say you just installed Concrete 5.5????? Did you mean 5.7?
