downgrading concrete5

im trying to downgrade the concrete5 on my website to install a different theme. I have a few that are compatible with older versions but not 5.7.


How do I do this?
p.s. new account and I dont have any previous back ups

The simple answer is you can't downgrade a 5.7 to a 5.6 site, you'll have to roll out a new 5.6 install.

In fact, you can't really do that for any version of concrete5 as when c5 updates it may make changes to the database structure. Often we people talk about downgrading what they are really doing is restoring a backup of a site before they triggered an update.
