duplicate dashboard dialogs

I've been playing around with concrete5 for a bit, though i'm still pretty new to it. I've installed it a bunch of different times, to try different things. Last week I installed 5.6.3.1 to start a new experiment - and for some reason, when I'm on the dashboard, any dialog that I launch is displayed TWICE!! I don't know if it was always like this, and I just didn't notice, or if I did something that caused this.
Does this sound like something familiar? that I should be concerned about?

That sounds dodgy. If you want to investigate in depth you could start by looking at jQuery events and .htaccess. But its probably not worth the hassle. If you have not got too far with your experiment, I would scrub it and start again.
Sure enough, starting over cleared it. Luckily I hadn't gotten too far! Thanks.
