upgrade to PHP 5.3 broke site

For the last week I've been working on a concrete 5 site - new install of latest version. Hosted on godaddy I was experiencing really slow response the entire time working on this project, and consistent hangs and Internal 500 errors.

Today was particularly bad with the 500 errors, so I read the forums and based on some dialogue, through the godaddy panel I upgraded from php 5.2 to php 5.3

about 10 min after that the site I've been working on went completely down...

The error I'm getting is
[Sun Apr 28 15:04:38 2013] [warn] [client 69.118.35.224] (104)Connection reset by peer: mod_fcgid: error reading data from FastCGI server
[Sun Apr 28 15:04:38 2013] [error] [client 69.118.35.224] Premature end of script headers: index.php

I've been looking through the forums trying to work with .htaccess and get the site up with no avail...

thanks forum

ok, I tried everything I could to get the site back up and running under PHP 5.3, and had no luck.

I WAS able to switch back to PHP 5.2 under the godaddy panel, and the site came back online... of course... I'm still experiencing frequent 500 errors...

As 500 errors are server side instead of site related, has Godaddy support offered any resolution?
