Error message when installing

I get this error message when I am trying to install the concrete5 files,
"mysql error: [2006: MySQL server has gone away] in EXECUTE("CREATE TABLE AttributeTypeCategories ( atID INTEGER(10) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT 0, akCategoryID INTEGER(10) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT 0, PRIMARY KEY (atID, akCategoryID) );")"
I have created a MySQL database, not sure what else I am supposed to do, all information I entered to install is correct but still get this message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
