Error updating blocks after moving site to new server

Hello, I just moved my site to a new server and everything runs properly except for my ability to edit/add blocks. I get the following error: Call to a member function getColumns() on null when trying to add/edit. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thank you for your quick reply. I did do all of those things. What it ended up being is when I dumped by database from phpmyadmin it did not include auto_increment. I had to download via cpanel's backup > database and downloaded that and then uploaded it. It then began working. Thanks again.
What version of concrete5? What were the hosting arrangements before and after? have you moved from Linux to Windows or vice versa?
