Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted

Hi all,

When I put my site on the live server I get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4864 bytes) in /vservers/livingun/htdocs/staging/packages/core_commerce/models/attribute/categories/core_commerce_product.php on line 71

I was told to increase memory_limit in php but that didn't change anything.

Any ideas anyone?

You can update the memory limit in the php.ini or the server provider has a had limitter which overrules that.

incase you can't access the php.ini to change it I suggest you contact your hosting provider to do it for you.

Yeah the hosting server did not allow it so they have increased memory for me and it worked.
