Flashplayer won't play

I've recently installed C5 on my website and was looking forward to testing it. However when trying to watch the 'Blocks' demo video I was informed to install Adobe Flashplayer by my Firefox 16 browser. I'm using Fedora17 OS and did install a 'Flasplayer' thru the Yum repository. Does anyone have any workarounds or is Fedora not a viable system to use with C5?
Any assistance gratefully received.
