Getting there will my new VPS install

The latest problem I've run into is not being able to send mail... i.e. Concrete5 responds with "Unable to send mail" when I try to do a password reset

Have a look at my config here (php-info)

you don't have any MX records for the subdomainhttp://media.fullflavour.co.nz

thats your problem,

Compare the maindomain:http://www.mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=mx:media.fullflavour...

and the sub domain:http://www.mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=mx:fullflavour.co.nz...

So thats the problem - without any MX records it's going to fail?

Theres a number of subdomains pointing at that VPS' IP....

Its not tied to any one domain name at present.

All I want it to do is send email - which I thought was poss without having to do much else.

if your using the default php sendmail you need the MX records but if you use smtp i do not believe you need them
