Hi Everyone,
Noticed a lot more people than myself had install problems. want to share a few things to make it a little easier. First off could not have done it without thhe assistance of another member on this forum bcarone. Big Kudos to him!!!
Here goes- download C5 zip file and save it somewhere (desktop). Connect to Godaddy & get to your hosting panel. Go to file manager.Open the root of your domain that you want to use. Click on clcik on upload and upload that zip file. Go to databases. Click on mySQL.Create new database. Pay attention to your naming and passwords to get into that database.Creat it. Next you will need a php5.ini file. This is very important. If you don't have it bcarone & I do. This needs to be placed in the root of the primary domain, not the root of your domain where you will use c5. Next unarchive the zip file you uploaded. After that ,go to browser & type http;//www.yourdomainname.com/concrete5.4.1.1/index.php/install. The Concrete window will open. If you ahev all green checks, it will allow you to fill in all pertinent data to the right and click install. I think I got everything right. If you follow the instructions, it install quickly an perfectly. Good Luck!!!
