Having trouble installing, thinking it might be a problem with dual log in
Permalink
So I've been using c5 since one of the first versions on a website that I maintain for a local non-profit organization. Now I am at school, and a club that I am in would greatly benefit from a system like c5 due to large student involvement on the side of actually running things. So I was elected their webmaster and I have set up a MySQL database using php 5.1.x and have uploaded everything to the page.
When I go to the page to install concrete, my database and permissions are set up to where I can enter my information, and when I do, I get an unable to connect to database message. I think that this might come from the fact that when I log in to phpMyAdmin, I have to supply my school ID and then log in to it using the database information. I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems or if they know if this could actually be the issue. Even better, any workarounds?
P.S. As much as I would love to support the c5 team and pay for hosting, that is NOT a solution, especially considering that this club doesn't have a huge budget.
