I was upgrading my site -http://thebellwalthamstlawrence.co.uk/... - to the next version of C5, but nothing happened and all I get is a blank screen on the site itself and on the dashboard - in fact every page is blank.
CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!

CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!
thanks.
Please mention how you upgrade your site. it's usually best to upgrade version by version.
Thanks Uranus.
I attempted to upgrade from 5.6.2.1 to 5.6.3.1, so not a big jump, I think.
I backed up then hit 'download' for the 'Available Update' and then the page just went white and I can't do anything with any of the pages. :(

Hi crackerjac,
First, don't panic. Hope you have a backup of your site before you upgrade. I've been in the same situation.
The first thing to be able to access your site and see your dashboard again is go to the /config/site.php site and edit the line that looks like. It is probably pointing to the version you're attempting to upgrade.
Try to change it to the version that was working before, assuming that code is still in the /updates directory or remove the line to use the original installed version.
Here are some references that have helped me:

Good luck,
Alejandro.
