i have had 2000 odd visitors to my site but no sales.
could anyone offer advise?

Well... this is what I see when I visit your site- "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)"

If the website isn't consistently delivering pages, people will be discouraged to use it and they will simply move on to the next seller!
