How do you manually install a C5 update? When I try to update from 5.5.2.1 dashboard say's "No updates available."

When I attempt an update from the dashboard I get:

Currently Running 5.5.2.1

No updates available.

---------

I've manually uploaded both 5.6.0 & 5.6.0.1 to the "updates" folder, still not being recognized by the dashboard.

Now what?

I just located the documentation (link below), which I was challenged to find because I searched "update" rather than "upgrade," so, I thought I'd go ahead and post my question and this response in the forum should anyone else attempt the same search.

I've cleared the cache. Method 1 hasn't worked for me. I'll have to try Method 2 as soon as pressing deadlines allow. Perhaps I'll be able to post a follow up.

I'm having the exact same issue. Except when I try to do a manual install that doesn't work either. Does any one have an idea of whats happening? Also where is thewww.www.mysite.com/tools/required/upgrade... script located? I have looked for that folder but there is none.
