I can no longer use forums...help?

Due to some bugs I had to erase data on my website,http://www.thelostconstant.com, and reinstall Concrete5. After I reinstalled I didn't have any of my previous add-ons. I expected this, since most of the data was erased. However, I thought that my license for the Forums Add-on would still allow me to re-download it. Unfortunately, I seem unable to do so. The transaction record is on my account, but I can't re-download. How can I fix this or renew my license without paying again??

deassociate it from your project and then download and install manually.

12345j has it right.
However, If you rename your new site differently from the original and connect to the community from the dashboard (you can change the name back right afterwards if needed) a new project will be opened for you. As stated, just release the licenses from the old project and then you can reassign them right away without having to do a manual upload.
If you dislike the clutter of an unnecessary (old) project showing... you can choose to have it filed as inactive.
I've been able to do this with success after having to reload a site from scratch.
