HELP: Install to the domain, not domain/something
Permalink
A couple of questions.
I've seen the install video and the tutorial on how to install concrete5, but how do you do it directly.
For example, I want to install concrete5 to:
http://www.mydomain.com
NOT TO
http://www.mydomain.com/concrete
=========================================
My other question is as follows:
I currently have a working version of Joomla going and everything is fine. It works like I want it now at:
http://www.mydomain.com
How to I back this up, and try and install concrete5 to the domain, but make sure I don't lose everything?
My thoughts are to rename the public_html folder to public_html_BACKUP and make another publi_html folder and start an install of concrete5. Does anyone see any problems with this?
Thanks.
Renn

Your suggestion will work as well (and may be easier). Just make sure your new public_html directory has the same permissions as the old.
