Installation of Concete5 and Themes

Hello all, I am new to the website editing. When I install Concrete 5 it gives me a zip file. I dont know how to install it to my pc of it possible. I purchase a $40 theme and cannot get it linked with my dashboard. Please help explain a little if possible.
