Installed successfully last night and now it's gone.

I installed c5 last night successfully and worked on it for awhile. When I opened the page this morning, it went to the index file for 1and1 hosting, who my domain is through but not my hosting. The nameservers are propogated and pointing correctly. I have tried doing a fresh upload of concrete5 to the root folder but can't get the install screen to reinstall. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like your cache or your hosts file, i'm seeing the install screen fine

you may want to update your hosts file to point your domain to the right ip on your computer

if you are a Windows PC user, try this .. to clear your cache.

1. Close all your browsers.
2. Go to the start button and type cmd.exe then press enter
3. this will open a command line window.
4. where the cursor is, just type ipconfig /flushdns (there is a space between ipconfig and the / ) press enter. Close the window.
5. For extra measure, reboot computer.
6. Visit site url

If its a cache problem this should clear it out. Plus if you need to you can first delete all your temporary internet files/cache then do the above for good measure.

Good luck. Hope this helps, if not now, then some other time.
