Installer is trying to redirect using absolute paths

I just unzipped the latest version of Concrete 5 to a "concrete" folder in my webserver root and tried to access index.php. When I choose English, it tries to redirect me tohttp://www.mysite.com/var/www/concrete/index.php/install/-/select_l...

How can I get it to remove the absolute filesystem path and only go to /concrete/index.php like it should?

Thanks

Don't install it to a folder called 'concrete'. This will be very confusing because there is a core folder called 'concrete' and I guarantee you will get messed up down the road. Name the folder 'c5' or 'temp' or anything but 'concrete'

What happens after you complete the installation? Do the URLs make more sense?
