Keeping part of old site in /public folder
Permalink
I have taken over my running club's website and want to install concrete5 to make it better looking and easier to manage.
Is it possible to re upload the old site, except index.html, into the public directory?
The reason for this is that there are lots of pages and pictures going back 10 years that I don't want to lose, but are probably rarely used, so it's not worth the time re-doing them, and this would save changing all of the links to direct them to a new folder.
I could then link to the old site from the new home page with the minimum of effort.

Thankks for the help
Put the entire old site in a directory called archive or whatever you want. Then create an external link in your site nav to that directory.
Thanks for the reply
The concrete5 Sitemap lets you link to an external URL. This would allow you to create an "Archive" page that links to your old site.
