Lost my site!!!

Help,
When I upgraded C5 on my site (www.mc4k.com) I noticed that my navagation was miissing. So I clicked the restore button for the most recient backed up data base.
It opened a new page with this error message: Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0". This comes up whenever I try going to the site address.
What do I need to do to get my site back?
Gene

What version of PHP? I have found that that error is usually because of a bug in PHP.

I am assuming that I need to know how to fix this via FTP since I can't get into the dashboard on the site.
Can you help?
