Mail Relay?

Hi guys, wonder if someone could help me out.
My client has a firewll setup on their server and have asked me to send mail via a relay. I'm not too sure how to set this up, all i have been givn is an IP address.
I assume this is SMTP but i thought that needed a username/password?

You should contact your host/ISP if they can allow you to use their SMTP server in your configuration.
Other option is to use an SMTP provider. There are some free ones but they are not very reliable.
There are of course also paid options. Try googling for example "smtp server hosting".
After you have the settings. Go to Dashboard -> Sitewide settings -> Email. In that page you can select an outside SMTP server and set all the necessary options (address, port, username etc.).
