Making gread / write / execute allowed for owner / group / world - is this not a security thread?

Hello

Regarding the write permissions I was asking myself it I set write Permissions for "world" i.e. if that is not a security thread - or does that really only sets permissions for my webserver?

I would appreciate an answer - thanks!
