Mapping "Areas" with the Migration Tool to Migrate 5.6.3 to 8.3.2?

Hi, so I'm still relatively new to Concrete5. I'm trying to get our site which is currently version 5.6.3 upgraded to 8.3.2 and also moved onto a new server. I'm using the add-on called "Migration Tool" provided by Concrete5 to assist in the process.
I'm kind of stumped at migrating the "Areas". I uploaded my current theme to the themes folder and it is currently installed/activated. According to the Migration Tool, I still need to map most of the custom Areas that are specific to this custom theme. But I'm not seeing where it lists out the "Areas" in the dashboard (like it does with Page Types and Block Types). Is there even a link to a page that lists all the Areas or would I actually need to modify the theme's code somehow in order to fix this issue? How do I create new Areas on the new site?
Thanks!

I am in the same boat. Anyone know how this works?
⚠ Hello, did you read/see this:
A full video about how to use the tools can be found on Youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9lzs2C88-s......
I blogged a bit about how the tools work as well:

As I mentioned, they're still under active development, and we'd love to accept pull requests under both the legacy and the 5.7 add-ons. I'll be adding issues to the various GitHub repositories.

Hey, thanks for the reply! The video was great help! I was having an issue with the Areas mapping. The system was only showing Main. However! I just set the page type of my home page and now the areas are showing! I think I am good to go! Thanks for all the time you put into the dev and tutorials!
⚠ Just a little effort for me (some searching).

Sorry to bump an old thread. But I have this problem as far as not all the areas are showing in the dropdown, some are, but not all. Any ideas? What is the actual process used? Where is the documentation? I exported from old 5.6 site, installed a fresh install if 8.3, added the original theme, activated, checked all the templates registered fully. Then it should just be a matter of importing, mapping page types, attributes and areas then import/publish the batch to the site?
