Migration help

Hi,
I got a new hosting account from Hostpaedia.com while I was on Arvixe before.
I have a concrete5 site on my previous account and wanted to shift that to my new hosting account.
I had used softaculous to install that before. Can anyone guide me. Its uptodate thanks to softaculous.
But how to migrate ?

Hello julieee,
It looks like hostpaedia uses cPanel just like us (Webhosting Hub). Here is a link to a full walk-through I did on transferring your website to us. It is most likely a very similar process:
http://www.webhostinghub.com/support/edu/concrete5/get-started/move...
Hope this helps,

Install and run it on your existing site.
Download the zip.
Upload the zip to the new site where you want the concrete install.
Unzip the zip.
Use the host control panel to crate a database and import the sql that was unpacked from the zip (in the backup voodoo folder).
Then finally(and most importantly) edit the new sites config/site.php to point to your new database and remove any old host specific stuff from .htaccess file.
As an intermediary, you could create an offline clone just for practice before making the new host clone.
