Im working on getting c5 up on my godaddy account. I have modifed the .htaccses, added a php5.ini with all the info ive gathered from reading the threads here, changed the perms on the files, applied the godaaddy patch I found here, etc etc every step that you can find concerning godaddy and C5

and im still stuck on the installation, im getting

mysql error: [1115: Unknown character set: 'DB_CHARSET'] in EXECUTE("SET NAMES 'DB_CHARSET' COLLATE 'DB_COLLATE'")

which I'v checked the coalition type on the db in question and it is set to utf8 as it should be to my understanding.

so im currently at a loss any ideas that i may have over looked would be great
