FYI some people have reported GoDaddy hosting to be slow with Concrete5. Just a heads up.

I've seen this post before and took it as changing from a .com/c5 to a .com (example) and as not moving from host to host.

Unfortunetly the client is set on godaddy remaining as their host. Appreciate the heads up though.

But does the following apply to a host to host transfer? If so Im impressed with the simplicity.

Same process. Disable & clear cache via dashboard > Sitewide settings. Backup DB & all files. Move files to new Webserver. Edit site.php, import DB, et all. Use that article as a reference. Also, there are a couple other posts here in the forums you could look at. Just Google moving a site in Concrete5.

Hope that helps.
