My site is linked to someone else's C5 account
Permalink
Hi
I'm the administrator for my school's website. The site is linked to the external developer's C5 account, who built the site for us.
The relationship ended badly so we don't want to talk to him about unlinking the site from his C5 account.
Is there any way we can unlink this and link it to a new C5 account?
We've bought some add ons and only realised afterwards this problem.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Check the "Config" table using phpMyAdmin or some other SQL tool. You'll have two entries MARKETPLACE_SITE_TOKEN and MARKETPLACE_SITE_URL_TOKEN. Remove both of them and you can reconnect your site.
However, you won't (officially) transfer the licenses to your new account. The code will still be there and it will still work, but theoretically, the guy you previously worked on your site, will have access to your licenses.
Transferring licenses can only be done by a core team member.
