If you are using shared hosting, just ask your web host to enable it for you. Otherwise you can enable it in php.ini file.

Same problem - Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS w Apache2, PHP 5.3.10
Terminal says the PDO Extension is ON;
But Concrete 5.7.5.8 installer check says its not. Any ideas? Kind of an urgent issue to resolve. Can't use an earlier version of Concrete as it clashes with the newer jQuery used by the site's design.
