Need Help Linking Concrete5 to GoDaddy hosting

I extracted the concrete5.7.4.1 file into my public_html folder and now I'm stuck. It says to put the code into the php5.ini but I have no clue what they are talking about.
Help please!
Here is the instructions I followed:https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/4675/manually-installing-co...
Thanks, peachyjuice

Hello,
Concerning the file php5.ini, you need to access the files on your server.
You can do that either through ftp or through your cpanel.
Godaddy should have given you a way to access and log in to your cpanel.
Once there, look for "file manager".
Once the file manager is open, look for a file called php5.ini or sometimes php.ini
click on it and select "edit" or "edit as code".
Add the line they gave you and click "save"
Alternatively, if that doesn't work, you can go here to the "how to" section on this site and do a search for goDaddyhttp://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos...
They're a bit old but still might help

I don't use GoDaddy and am not familiar with its configuration, but I found a few links related to how it handles php5.ini files. If these links don't help you solve the problem, I suggest contacting GoDaddy techical support for instructions.
