No dashboard after install/SQL import?

I've installed C5 on a new host, which went fine. Afterwards I import my SQL file from my old db and it came up with error about not finding the theme. I uploaded the theme and now the front page comes up but I can't get to the dashboard. I get this error: Page Not Found No page could be found at this address.
What am I doing wrong here?

Try opening the dashboard directly instead of the site? just add /dashboard or /index.php/dashboard to the url. if that works uninstall the theme and reinstall it.

if that fails try forcefully "upgrading" the site to the current version, this is done by adding /tools/upgrade?force=1 or /index.php/tools/upgrade?force=1 to the url. it then forcefully upgrades to the version you already have.

The strangest thing....I went to the site to try your suggestions and it's working fine. I didn't have to do anything.
