No Thumbnails in File Manager
Permalink
Hello,
Ive have freshly updated to concrete5 5.4.1.1 from 5.3.3.1 - As I have been looking through numerous posts about the same and similar problems, none of the solutions provided actually solve my problem.
My hosting is with 123-reg.
The 5.3.3.1 files were uploaded fine. The website was create, but I noticed that the thumbnails in the file manager we not there. I set the file permissions to 777 recursive for /files. This worked!... Until you added more images.
I then proceeded to upgrade to 5.4.1.1... but again, same problem?
Ive got a feeling its something to do with my 123-reg hosting, but If anyone has any suggestions... anything that is different to what is already in the forum, I'd give it a shot.
Thanks,
**Edit in phpMyAdmin it says "Your PHP MySQL library version 5.0.77 differs from your MySQL server version 5.1.47. This may cause unpredictable behavior." could this be the issue?

This is almost always server settings and server permissions believe it or not. The best way to get it sorted quickly is to contact your host and have them monitor as you upload images. They will see the failure of thumbnail creation and should instantly fix it. If they dont see it than you will need to use a developer console like firebug to pinpoint the failure for them. They should also catch it instantly from looking at the logs.
did you get this sorted? I am having the same issues, I have already edited the file.php to allow uploading, but like you don't have thumbnails...
I am hosting on webfusion.
