No way to download paid add-on onto production site?

my license-page shows the add-ons which I purchased.
I was able to install them on my staging system.
Now I want to install them on my productive site. According to the license agreement, I'm intitled to do so.

Some add-ons have a download-link, so no problem there.
But some don't. So how do I get them down on my site?

I'm not sure here, but I have fielded some support questions in regard to this for some of my items recently.

I've just been providing instructions or uploading them for the users if they provide ftp details. Maybe you can ask your sellers to do the same while this gets sorted out?

I had the same problem. Eventually the licenses page showed the wonderful "download archive" button and I downloaded it and installed it manually.

Would'nt it be great to see that "download archive" button!
But fact is: I have purchased 7 add-ons on my license-list. None has the download button.

Why is this an important issue?
Concrete5 has chosen an innovative hybrid open-source/commercial business model, much talked about in the forums.
But if it should turn out that order fulfillment cannot be relied upon, the reputation of both the product and its developers is going to suffer.
They certainly deserve better.

Ooook... so where have the download links gone NOW?!

I've looked all over my licenses page, and around my projects, but I see no way to download an archive of the themes and add-ons I have purchased!

Can someone point me in the right direction?!

Thanks!

I have found that if the license is assigned to a dev or sandbox site, I need to "release" the license from the project page to make it available for either download or re-assignment to the finished site. The download button should be visible on your licenses list then (be patient, refresh browser, click mouse multiple times, fidget etc. lol )
(I habitually choose to download the add-on instead of assigning it when purchased... modify on desktop if needed... manually upload if modified or assign it from Projects page license list if not.)
No matter how it is uploaded, assigning the license will help you keep your list of available licenses current and eligible for upgrades as they are released.
Hope this helps you out :)

Yep. If you assign an add-on to a project it will not show the download link, as its already downloaded to your root.

So if you want a copy for backup just copy it out your root folder or download it before you assign it to a project.
