Notice on bottom of my theme

I am new to this C5 stuff and more then likely I will not have the understanding to build my site. Bought a theme and I am trying to work very slowly with basic edits.

I have a notice on the bottom right hand corner of my page ( see attached ) and I dont know how to get rid of it..?

I also want to replace the main image on the page.. is this done my uploading the same size image to my files and folders and then dropping it in place..?

God I need to get someone to do all this for me.. pay the experts may be the best solution and I am getting brain freezeeeeeee

Help..! please.
Paul

Hi Paul,
You appear to be using the Demo hosting option. This limits what you can do and is designed for a only a no-risk introduction to C5.
Please don't design your entire site there (you'll have to recreate it when you move to paid hosting).
1) The demo warning in the lower right Never appears on regular sites so the solution is to just move to paid hosting.
2) The image is stored in your "File Manager" and yes, you can upload a new image of your own choice sized to replace the original and select it while in Edit mode for your page in question. (other images or colors in the theme your using can be modified in the code or from the dashboard's Themes tab)

Have fun with it :)

Many thanks for your advice.

I have tried to connect and upload C5 to my host ( 1and1) and to be perfectly honest with you, I cant manage it. I am not comfortable messing about with this at all and I am going to find a contractor to get me started.

I think its better to pay someone who knows C5 and I know I will just end up getting lost in it and probably doing something that will cause me more problems.

I have managed to set up SQL with my host and I have also uploaded the C5 Zip file.. but that is where I am stopped.. and lost.

Cheers

Paul
