Password needs to be reset for every login

Just went through a few updates to C5 and now the login password for the admin isn't working. Everytime I return to the site I have to reset the password. I had moved the database over from another host, but didn't save the original config file. Is this related to not having the salt in config.php right? Or related to 5.5.2?

I cleared out the database and reinitiated it, but I'm still having the same problem with the super user account. I set up another user and that account didn't have a problem.

Any suggestions?

User error I think. The saved username was wrong. Doh!

I figured out what I was doing. I wasn't actually using the admin as username I was using the e-mail address. It must be late.
