Permissions?

Hi Guys,
I could knock on Bill's door... but he's already held my hand in setting up on Godaddy... now I'm tackling another server webhostinghub.com and am having trouble. If you look athttp://www.scadabooch.com you see that it's telling me I need to properly set up permissions. I have all of these directories set up as 777 and even if I go into the files below and give them all permissions I still get the same error.
I've contacted the server and they say they can't find out what's wrong and send me back here... any wisdom... ?
ty!

How did/are you changing folder permissions? Also, which "files below" are you changing permissions on? Typically it's just those three folders and maybe a Zend file.
Thanks for the reply... I think I'm okay with changing the permissions on the config/files/packages. I started a ticket with the help desk and they said from looking at my file manager and the Concrete info on my url that I certainly have the correct permissions set on the right folders and suggested that there might be 'other' permissions that had to be changed. I then tried changing permissions on files on the php files in the Config folder to see if that would 'do anything'... Kinda like the Kids In The Hall skit where the car won't start and the other guy keeps kicking the tire and saying "There, try it now" :p
Bill... Bill... ;) Bueller... :) I suppose if I keep crying to Bill for help... even if I drive him nuts... at least only one person around here will know I don't have a clue what I'm doing :)

Hello All,
I know this is an older post, but I work for WebHosting Hub, and I want to help other people who may find it.
When file permissions are set to 777, it is flagged by mod_sec as a security problem, since it is "writable" by anyone.
You can easily change File Permissions in cPanel:http://www.webhostinghub.com/support/website/how-tos/how-do-i-chang...
Install Concrete5 using Softaculous - http://www.webhostinghub.com/support/edu/concrete5/get-started/inst...
Move your Concrete5 site from another host:http://www.webhostinghub.com/support/edu/concrete5/get-started/move...
I hope this helps. Feel free to message me if you have any additional questions,
John-Paul
