PHP Comments Preserved

hi all,

i have to install c5 5.7 on a hosted environment and the installer won't proceed because it fails on the testing item named above. i have no access to the php.ini. is there a way to resove this problem or have i to contact (or change) the hoster?

You have to contact your host.
