Preview/customize strange behaviour

When I preview themes the links and menus do not function properly. While the preview is still loading the links show the hover state correctly, However once it's fully loaded the links stop functioning. The hover states also don't work on the customize themes page.
The weird thing is, both the preview and customize work perfectly on my work computer. What could be the cause of this?
By the way, I'm using Windows7 at home and my work computer has XP.

This is using Chrome and Firefox 3.6.8 Strangely enough the link hover states work in IE9 Beta but I am unable to edit my site with that (editable regions are not click-able).
they arn't supposed to be clickable, its mean't as a preview, there is some js (ccm_diasablelinks i believe) that disables links
Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear in my last post. I'm unable to edit from the EDIT page in IE9 beta and that's the reason I don't use it. The link hover states however, do work in the PREVIEW with IE9.

wouldn't that be a problem with ie or your theme then...

I just tried it with Firefox on my office computer and the preview doesn't work properly - seems that the hover states only work in IE (but not IE9 beta). I hope this can be addressed in a future release.
