Problems after moving a site to Godaddy
Permalink
Hi
I have moved a site onto a godaddy linux host. I have edited the site.php file with all the correct username, password etc. Have also added the "cgi.fix_pathinfo = 1" to the php5.ini file. All seems to be working apart from not showing background images and character glitches on the screen.
here is a link to the sitehttp://sgduk.com.previewdns.com/...
should look like thishttp://commnetuk.no-ip.org:1500/sgd/...
Any ideas please,
Thanks, Al

Did you move it from a windows environment? It almost looks like some sort of unicode problem

Hi Mnakalay,
Thanks for replying. No it was moved from another linux based installation?? I am just editing the website again now to remove the strange characters. I'm still puzzled why the top header background image will not show though.
Many thanks,
Alex
