Problems after Recent C5 Update to 5.6.1.2
Permalink
After updating a new block showed up in top banner space for ALL guests viewing site showing the text "Welcome to concrete5 - an Open Source CMS": seehttp://www.thewod.net. This block was not visible prior to upgrade.
I attempted to delete the block - after saving it remained on page.
I attempted to edit block - received error (... non-object ...)???
I attempted to delete the block again. After 2nd attempt, block is no longer visible when logged in, or in edit mode. But block returns after a few page refreshes.
I do not have any idea where to look to correct this "phantom" block.

I'm not seeing it as well. But I know what you mean. If you see it again, delete that text in your elements/header.php file from your current template.
I appreciate the suggestions!
- Cache - cleared cache, no change. The display of this block is intermittent, and VERY annoying.
- As for editing the files ... I'm trying to avoid this to 1) allow updates to occur properly, and reduce my "tweak time" after each update.
Though, as my experience this forum has taught me, the C5 folks don't seem to care much - so I may be forced to modify the core files.
