Problems since updating C5 to 5.4.0.5

Permalink
I've had a couple of strange problems with C5 5.4.0.5, I've asked about them before but have not seen any resolution.

The first issue regards adding a new block to a page - if I put a page in edit mode, add a new block (block type does not matter) as soon as I edit the block settings and hit Add / Update I get a small Error popup with something like the following inside:

Error
{"aID":"135","arHandle":"Main","cID":"74","error":false,"bID":"495"}
with a close button.

The block still gets added, and I can go back and modify it. It happens on any page in the site, and with every block type I try to add.

The second issue comes when I try to exit Edit Mode, instead of getting a popup to approve the changes etc with a new version number, the 'Exit Edit Mode" button just has a spinning ball icon going in it constantly, the rest of the page greys out, and nothing happens. I have to go to my Dashboard, the Site Manager, Versions for that page, approve the latest version, then I can go back to the page in the website and exit edit mode finally.

I've cleared cache, refreshed the database, run the jobs etc and nothing works. The site is still functional but editing or adding anything is a pain now. Can anyone shed some light or offer any solutions?

I'd appreciate it :)

Thank you,
Joe

Probably a javascript error, not a cache issue. Seehttp://www.concrete5.org/index.php?cID=102783#104756...
