Projects and Theme Licences.

I am looking into Purchasing one of the themes that are available (a single license) and it states that you can only attach it to a single project.
Presently the project that I have is barebones and so I have a development area, of which is on the server I plan to use but can only be accessed via an SSH tunnel. Because of this on the project section of concrete5 it states the URL of the project is: 127.0.0.1:8888
What I would like to know is, when I do move this site into a live environment, what then happens?
Will the Licence no longer be valid?
Will that URL in the projects section update/change?
Does the URL in the projects section act as some kind of anchor to ensure people are no using Themes more than once etc?
Is there anything that I need to know before I do make the purchase and append it to my project?

Marketplace items can be downloaded and installed manually, so you don't HAVE to connect it to the marketplace.
"you can only attach it to a single project" means the license is valid for one site, any site you want. You can also leave it unattached as PineCreativeLabs states, in which case you can download it and install it manually.
You are not supposed to use it on more than one site. There is no way for c5 or the builder to know how many times you have it installed. There is no tracking code.
