Question to the update-process
Permalink
Hi all,
As far as I know an Update of an existing concrete5-installation will overwrite existing files, right?
I would like to know if there is a possibility to keep changes in files (e.g. I have changed the file \c5\concrete\mail\user_registered_approval_complete.php) and I don`t want to change all the files again of course (after an update).
Thank you very much in advance, Kai

Put it instead in the root directory of your website. concrete5 will use it in priority, before the files in /concrete.
In your case, just put your
/concrete/mail/user_registered_approval_complete.php
in
/mail/user_registered_approval_complete.php
