Rebuild C5 with just DB and template

Hi,
There was attack on my server and on of the sites (was on C5) was destroid. All files (incuding css and graphic) ware modified and their names were changed to file_name.extention.locked. All I have is template and DB. How can I rebuild the site? When I paste a new, clean C5. It wanted fresh DB.

What should I do?

You can simply create a new DB and install the fresh C5 over there. Then import the old DB to the new one. It will work.

Do I need to use excally same C5 version? Is the version number written somewhere in DB?

I think the best approach is to use the same version. After the import done, you can update the C5 anytime.
