Red bar with 1 on package install
Permalink
I bought a theme and I've been trying to install it through the Add Functionality page. When I install it, I get a red bar at the top with the number '1' on the left side. I have no clue what this means. Anyone?

This actually doesn't happen during an upgrade, it happens upon the initial install. I've tried manually installing, deleting, re-uploading, etc., etc.
I have noticed, through FileZilla, that sometimes there are only 1700ish files to upload, but sometimes there are 2600ish files to upload and it usually hangs up with 1348 files left in the queue every time.

If Filezilla isnt making it through the entire upload and your missing half of your files than its unlikely c5 will work without them.
Instead of uploading an unzipped copy paste the link below into your browser for a video for the steps to upload a zipped copy and extract, setup, install.

I made it to help someone with manually updloading c5 to a sub-domain but it has all the steps you need. Upload, extract, move stuff up a level.
* I realize now that its a package your installing so just upload the zipped theme to your packages directory, than extract. Go to add functionality and it will be there.

It can be caused by an interupted package download, and also by files being moved. In your case, if whats in the guide doesn't help you may want to remove the package from site and try re-downloading or manually installing it.
