Rendering Issues - migrating to VPS
Permalink
Hi Guys,
I am in the process of migrating to VPS from a shared host. 95% seems to be working, but some of the menu, header and footer styling is missing.
Please see shared host site -http://easyroomlets.com
VPS -http://212.48.88.112/
The DB name, UID, PWD have been changed, and this has been reflected in my site.php.
I tried to do a clear cache to see if that helps and received error messages - please see attached.
Not sure what else I need to modify to get this working.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best Regards
Gerald

Hi All,
Thanks for your speedy replies.
Before I make a mess of it all; I have checked and owner has all permissions. Do I need to change for Group and Others?
Cheers

Hi,
After looking at those messages I'd guess you need to change permissions on files and subdirectories as you are getting permission denied.
You may have to change all directories under and including /files to 777.
You can probably do this via your ftp client (it might take a while if you have lots of subfolders under /files.

The is a file permission issue on your VPS.
You need to change permissions on the /files/cache directories to be writable.
